Waltzing the Snake of Temptation
(a poem by Zachar Laskewicz on resisting awful onanic urges)

WALTZING THE SNAKE OF TEMPTATION
(a poem by Zachar Laskewicz)

1.

The despicable act of masturbation
Is a proverbial waltz with that snake of temptation;
Such self-serving sessions
Are evil transgressions
Causing nothing but bodily vilification.*

*(deserving of self-mutilation, like flagellation).

2.

To stop it, thank God for repression!
At least, it’s God we can thank for this lesson;
After all it was god
Who spared not the rod
When he offered the chance for confession.*

*(forgiving us of this transgression, among other ingressions.)

3.

Thanks to this human condition
Resisting temptation’s become life’s one true mission ;
Thus it’s God we should thank
Every time we don’t wank
By it’s very not-doing we’re saved from perdition!*

*(there's a place to still fry our proverbial fish on, it's nocturnal emission).

4.

In inventing such a method preventive,
Who’d have guessed God could be so inventive;
For feeding, through kneading,
Those snakes in our Eden
Offering guilt as the one great incentive! *

*(still, like Freud I’d be to the anus attentive, seeing God was so clearly retentive.)
