Recently and for a bargain price I purchased an 'art-deco mini piano'. There appeared to be nothing wrong with it apart from the fact that it was out of tune. I was about to begin on a venture that would take up an enormous amount of time and effort. As time allows I will describe and hopefully also show films of the incredibly difficult task of tuning an art deco 'mini' piano, which is only 'mini' in the sense that it is that the soundboard and strings which are normally above the piano, are inverted beneath it and are much more difficult to reach. One literally has to take the whole piano apart to get to the strings. At this moment I'm still trying to work out how to cure a loose pin which refuses to be restrung.
